Chinese Famille Rose Oval Vase with Bats and Peaches

Qing Dynasty (YONGZHENG PERIOD)

It is 41cm tall with a 9.5cm mouth diameter and 12cm base diameter.

The vase has a lopsided mouth, slanting shoulder, round belly and ring foot. It is also known as an oval vase due to its similarity with the olive (shape-wised). The vase is painted with peaches and bats which signify good fortune and longevity. Chinese Famille Rose porcelain is called a soft-colour porcelain which makes it one of the “four traditional porcelain” in Guan kilns of Jingdezhen.

清雍正。
高 41 厘米，口径 9.5 厘米，足径 12 厘米。
粉彩蝠桃纹橄榄瓶，瓶撇口，溜肩，鼓腹，圈足，形似橄榄，故此又称橄榄瓶。瓶粉彩绘八桃，蝙蝠，寓意多福多寿。粉彩瓷又称软彩瓷，
为景德镇官窑四大传统名瓷品种之一。
