The Palace Museum's collection of " Qian Li Jiang Shan" is the only work handed down from the northern Song Dynasty painter Wang Xi Meng, who painted the at the age of 18. The painter divided the scene into six parts in a huge scroll of more than ten meters. Qian Li Jiang Shan inherited the traditional "green method", from the current existence of the green landscape works, there is no one can surpass "Qian Li Jiang Shan".
千里江山图的故事
故宫博物院珍藏的《千里江山图》卷，是北宋画家王希孟传世的唯一作品，王希孟在18岁时绘出了这一千古绝作。画家在十余米的巨幅长卷中将景物大致分为六部分，每部分均以山体为主要表现对象。千里江山图继承了传统的“青绿法”，从目前存世的青绿山水作品看，尚无一件可以超越《千里江山》卷。
